Conservation Grazing

Legacy Grazing offers a bespoke service to sites where grazing is required to help conserve wildlife, historic or landscape interest.

Working collaboratively with site managers, we provide a tailor-made grazing regime ensuring the right number of livestock are present at the right times.

We adopt an evidence-based approach with monitoring integral to our success. Combining state of the art GPS technology - to track stock movements - with ecological and livestock expertise to ensure habitats and animals are maintained in top condition.

We graze 16 sites covering over 400 hectares of land for private, local authority and NGO partners including Essex County CouncilBasildon Borough CouncilChelmsford City County, Colchester Borough Council, Lee Valley Regional Park and East Suffolk District Council. We are particularly adept at grazing land with open public access, including high-profile sites such as Hylands Park and Hadleigh Park home of the 2012 Olympics Legacy.
